As featured in the CHIN UP article of the February 2014 issue of ELLE Magazine.
As we age our skin’s support system breaks down causing the chin, neck and jowls to gradually sag. Of course, collagen-breakdown isn’t limited to just the face; it can happen at the tricep area of our arms, too. (And other places that we’d rather it didn’t.) But with ThermiTight®, these areas can be corrected. And the best part? Without invasive surgery.
ThermiTight® works differently than other technologies; unlike lasers, ThermiTight® works beneath the skin’s surface rather than through the skin’s surface. Its process employs radio-frequency energy (RF). Through a small probe, RF energy transfers heat beneath the skin to shrink and tighten at the deepest layers. This also triggers the production of collagen to help rebuild the skin’s support system. After the procedure, your skin will look and feel tighter and smoother and will continue to improve over the next four months with long lasting results. Individual results may vary.
Some treatable areas include:
- Breasts (sagging or uneven)
- Arms (“batwings”)
- Love Handles
- Post Pregnancy Stomach Wrinkling
- More Youthful Looking Skin
- Tighter and Smoother Skin
- No General Anesthesia Necessary
- Minimal Downtime 24-48 hours — some patients resume normal activities after leaving our office.
- Individual results may vary.
ThermiTight works to correct sagging breasts as well… As seen on “The Doctors” on October 18, 2016
What to Expect:
Both a topical and a local anestesic are used to numb the to-be-treated area. The small probe is placed beneath the skin and the RF energy is delivered and monitored. You may feel numbness from the injection and any subsequent swelling lasts approximately 24-48 hours. You may experience minimal bruising and some of our patients return to the normal activities after they leave the office. Individual results may vary.
