Plano, Texas has been very good to Dr. Jeffrey Caruth. He graduated from Plano Senior High School where he met his wife of 25 years. His daughters also graduated from the same high school. Plano is where he climbed the medical ladder as a physician and where he currently operates his thriving businesses: his own OBGYN practice as well as Plano Aesthetics.
Dr. Caruth left the city for Texas A&M as a young 18 year old who enjoyed science and helping others and returned as a medical doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. He is currently a Cosmetic Gynecologist who specializes in body contouring, minimally invasive cosmetic solutions as well as minimally invasive procedures for women suffering from heavy bleeding and those seeking permanent birth control.
One of the most important things Dr. Caruth learned in medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and at Baylor University Medical Center was that “you can do whatever you want if you’re willing to work for it.”
That philosophy has certainly been a guiding force throughout his professional career. Starting out as a staff physician at Medical Center of Plano, Dr. Caruth worked his way up to Chief of Staff in the Ob/Gyn Department: one of his proudest accomplishments as a professional.
Two other moments stand out that fill Dr. Caruth with pride: having his grandmother see him finish school and start his medical practice before she died of cancer in 1995; and the success of his own OBGYN medical practice (opened in 1992) and that has now flourished to include Plano Aesthetics.
In an effort to promote life long learning, Dr. Caruth attended a FotoFacialRF™ certification course in 2003 and really enjoyed the idea of offering his patients non-invasive cosmetic solutions. Since then, Dr. Caruth has focused his time and energy to train and become certified in the latest cosmetic procedures for Plano Aesthetics as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques that require little to no down time for his OBGYN patients.

They were also the primary reasons he earned the People’s Choice Award for Best Doctor and Best Medical Spa in the Plano Star Courier in 2006 and Physician of the Month in June, 2007 by the Labor and Delivery Nurses at Plano Presbyterian Hospital.
On weekends you can find Dr. Caruth and his wife participating in water sports, traveling, listening to music, gathering decorating ideas or spending time with their two daughters: Loren, 21 and Christen, 18 who attend their dad’s alma mater, Texas A&M.
